bio

I take photographs of various surroundings and edit them to depict a dark, eerie environment which are later developed into various sized prints. To create these different emotions, I overlap the images and blend them together to get the mixed results. I believe that my pictures create a series of mysterious stories. "The future belongs to the curious. The ones who are not afraid to try it, explore it, poke at it, question it and turn it inside out" - quote by unknown.

These stories can consist of different with the objects/colours giving as to what might be going on. One of my most favourite pieces that I have created was 'Ghost Town' which consisted of layering a picture of my psychical work with my digital photo which resulted in a semi negative image. For my work I try and keep a 16:9 dimension to give that cinema feeling to the viewers. I want them to feel as though they're watching a movie in which anything can happen. A character or an "entity" will appear. The results are endless. I have explored a range of mediums such as acrylic, oil paints, PVA & Inks. Occasionally mixing a few together to create different textures and patterns. Recently I have been using painting knives, sponges and cardboard to create different effects.
